TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Deputy Governor of Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that the bed occupancy rate (BOR) at the Covid-19 referral hospital currently stands at 20 percent capacity. Of 3,694 beds available, 732 are occupied.

"That's a 20-percent increase," Riza said in Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 28.

Meanwhile, 86 of 587 ICU beds are now occupied, or a 15-percent increase.

Riza Patria asked Jakarta residents to be more careful about transmission risks. He asked everyone to keep obeying health protocols.

He also reminded people to immediately get vaccinated, at least three doses. "That's our job. We must not underestimate this. The mobility relaxation must be accompanied by better compliance with health protocols and accelerated vaccine use," said Riza Patria.

Yesterday, Jakarta reported 3,279 new cases of Covid-19. The Covid-19 Task Force also reported 1,781 recoveries and one death.
